Show Up for Teachers Conference

All Utah educators are invited to attend the Show Up For Teachers Conference held on July 12, 2022. When possible, principals and other administrators are encouraged to attend with a team of teachers plus their school counselor or psychologist to take advantage of the opportunities and workshops that will help improve the culture of well-being in their schools.

The First Lady has been humbled as she has met with Utah’s educators and learned more about their heroic efforts through the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges. She has also been energized by the goodness she has seen as they and their administrative teams have adjusted plans time and time again in order to fight for quality educational opportunities in the midst of difficulty.  During many conversations across the state, educators have shared their desire to strengthen their own mental health and emotional well-being in order to better teach and support Utah’s students. The First Lady is anxiously seeking opportunities to prop them up in their efforts, and looks forward to providing additional tools to them as they continue to teach the state’s children.
