A Mantra of Hope

Live On is a statewide effort to prevent suicide by promoting education, providing resources, and changing our culture around suicide and mental health. Together we can get through, reach out, lift up, look ahead, and Live On.

Live to Help Others

You have the power to save a life. If you think someone might be considering suicide, ask them! Asking does not make them more likely to attempt suicide and may actually save their life.

Living Through Loss

If you have lost a loved one to suicide,
you are not alone.

This can be challenging, confusing, and painful experience. Grief from a suicide loss is complicated. While there is no right or wrong way to grieve, sometimes the grief can be so overpowering it becomes unhealthy and you may need help from a grief counselor or support group. It’s important that you reach out for support and help if you are struggling with the loss.
